This simple tool is used for holding a blade or weapon in the proper bent position for gluing wires.  It has the ability to be adjusted for any length blade, and for use on a fully assembled weapon for those quickie emergency repairs during a competition!

The wires in foils and epees like to stretch, but only so much!  Therefore it is necessary to bend to the blade before you glue it.

In the past, some people have used doorways, window sills and railings of balconies to bend and hold the blade while gluing and letting the glue dry.  Often with disastrous results!

This tool fits over the tip and the tang, or the pommel, and can be adjusted to the ensure the correct bend in the blade.
